Mission
To promote and regulate the use of federal areas known as National Parks which purpose is to conserve the scenery and natural and historic objects and the wildlife therein and leave it unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations.

Primary Programs/Projects
Monitoring of spawning efforts within the Park boundaries (i.e. Park Slough, Upper Baker River). Stream and water related (lakes and ponds etc.) research including TFW stream surveys, amphibian surveys, vegetation surveys, wildlife surveys and associated mapping and reports. Most of our work is on natural systems and serves as good reference reach data source.

Reason for Participating on the Skagit Watershed Council
The primary goal is to establish communication and the efficient transfer of data throughout the basin. The Park would like to see cooperation amongst groups to support the completion of restoration and protection efforts. The Park also strongly supports the need for monitoring efforts. The Park is a good source of reference streams for comparison to natural conditions and functions.
