Mission
Represent Ecology to Watershed planning groups in Skagit Basin. Provide expertise on state laws and regulations and policy issues. Identify Ecology staff with expertise in habitat preservation and restoration, water quality, shorelands, wetlands and water rights.

Primary Programs/Projects
Ecology watershed lead to HB2514 Watershed Planning. Ecology point of contact for water resources, water quality and shorelands programs for Skagit Basin.

Reason for Participating on the Skagit Watershed Council
Critical link between HB2496 lead entity (SWC) and 2514 Watershed Planning. Habitat element must come from 2496. Contribute expertise, analysis, time, energy and possible funding to this effort.
