The Skagit Watershed Council invites you to share your stories about salmon in and around the Skagit Watershed!
Whether it’s a memorable day spent fishing, a family tradition passed down through generations, a favorite place in the watershed, or simply the feeling of seeing salmon return each year, we want to hear your story.
This year, we’re opening the contest to a variety of creative writing formats, including essays, short stories, poems, and other original works inspired by salmon and the Skagit watershed.
Entries are due July 20th! Click the button below to enter via our Google form.

Any entry, in whole or in part, may also be shared via social media, the Skagit Watershed Council blog, and/or future publications.
