Organization Description and Mission:

The mission of the Salish Alliance is to work with local communities to identify, adopt and implement climate adaptation strategies that provide for the security and sustainability of future generations.

Primary Programs/Projects:

• Implementation of habitat restoration strategies that improve ecological resilience.
• Providing logistic and support services to organizations working to address climate change.
• Promotion of government policies supporting community sustainability.

Reason for joining the Skagit Watershed Council:

To maintain engagement with colleagues and like minded citizens that seek to protect and restore ecological resilience in the Skagit Basin.
