Born and raised in Skagit County, Elle has had a lifelong love of exploring, documenting, and preserving the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. A storyteller at heart, Elle pursued an education in communications and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film at Central Washington University. She has used her digital communications skills to craft and share impactful, community-building stories for small businesses, government entities, and nonprofit organizations across western Washington.
Though her goal is to travel and see as much of the world as possible, she’s never happier than when she’s exploring our forests and trails right here at home – usually with her husband and their giant Golden Pyrenees, Appa. Elle became the Skagit Watershed Council’s Communications Coordinator in 2025.
