Aundrea joined the team at the Skagit Watershed Council as our Watershed Coordinator in December of 2018. In March 2024, she was promoted as our Interim Executive Director. She is a geologist and ecologist with over twenty years’ experience working on landscape analysis, geomorphology, estuarine habitat restoration planning, climate change risk factor analysis, and water quality assessment. For 16 years she worked with the Skagit River System Cooperative conducting research in the nearshore environments of Skagit and Island counties related to juvenile salmon use of those habitats. Prior to that she spent 4 years in the Swinomish Planning Department developing their water quality program. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in geology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and a Master’s degree in environmental geology from Western Washington University.
