American Rivers
American Rivers protects wild rivers, restores damaged rivers, and conserves clean water for people and nature. Since 1973, American Rivers has protected and restored more than 150,000 miles of rivers through advocacy efforts, on-the-ground projects, and an annual America’s Most Endangered Rivers® campaign.
Children’s Museum of Skagit County
The mission of the Children’s Museum of Skagit County is to provide an interactive learning environment to promote, encourage and increase an understanding of the arts, science and culture among children, youth, families and educators in Skagit County. CMSC, in a partnership with the Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group, teach about the salmon through raising salmon eggs and releasing them into local waterways.
City of Anacortes
The mission of the City of Anacortes is to maintain and improve quality of life reflecting community expectations through a focus on public participation and employees-mayor-council teamwork.
City of Burlington
The City of Burlington is embracing smart growth and low impact development principles for commercial redevelopment. To date, Burlington has demonstrated its commitment to smart growth principles in its efforts to revitalize its downtown (“Downtown”), improve its residential neighborhoods, prevent future sprawl, and improve water quality.

Fidalgo Fly Fishers
The Fidalgo Fly Fishers is a local non-profit club affiliated with the national Federation of Fly Fishers and dedicated to promoting the recreational sport of fly fishing and the conservation of wild fish stocks and their habitats, particularly for trout, steelhead, and salmon.

Geosyntec Consultants (Aspect Consulting)
Aspect Consulting is now a part of Geosyntec Consultants, Inc., a consulting firm of nearly 3,000 scientists and engineers at the forefront of policy analyses, regulatory compliance, and technology applications that promote ecosystem restoration. They provide geotechnical and hydrogeologic support to manage floodplains and enhance fish passage and habitat in the Skagit watershed and throughout the Puget Sound region.
Long Live the Kings
Since our founding in 1986, Long Live the Kings has worked to restore wild salmon and steelhead and to support sustainable fishing. Our programs―combining on-the-ground fieldwork with scientific innovation and broad partnerships―help decision-makers advance salmon recovery while balancing the needs of fish and people.
Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest
The US Forest Service manages most of the headwater streams in the Skagit Basin. The agency believes that the goals of the Council can best be achieved by cooperation across ownership boundaries to restore sustainable fisheries.
Natural Systems Design
Through landscape scale restoration of ecosystems and physical processes, we strive to promote quality of life for local communities and restore balance to natural systems.
North Cascades Institute
The Institute is committed to educating the public about the natural resources of the Pacific Northwest. We believe this will lead to their conservation and protection.
North Cascades National Park
Promoting and regulating the use of federal areas known as National Parks which purpose is to conserve the scenery and natural and historic objects and the wildlife therein and leave it unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations.
Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
Protecting and restoring coastal and estuarine ecosystems in the Salish Sea through research, education, stewardship, training, and community partnerships.
Port of Skagit
Governed by an elected board of three commissioners, The Port of Skagit serves as an economic development engine for Skagit County by concentrating on its mission, “Good Jobs for Our Community.” The port focuses its efforts on the sectors of aerospace, maritime and value-added agriculture. At the same time, the port takes care to provide transparent governance and excellent public service at minimal cost to the taxpayers of the port district.  
Public Utility District #1 of Skagit County
Providing quality, safe, reliable and affordable utility services to our customers in an environmentally-responsible, collaborative manner.
Puget Sound Energy
Energy Production and Storage strives to supply to our customers a product with a combination of price, reliability and hassle-free service that is unmatched in the production and storage of gas, electric and other related commodities, while addressing our environmental responsibility and the needs of our stakeholders.
Puget Sound Partnership
The Puget Sound Partnership is the state agency that leads and coordinates the efforts of citizens, governments, tribes, scientists, businesses and nonprofits to set priorities, implement a regional recovery plan and ensure accountability for results. The Partnership is also a National Estuary Program, a designation established by Congress in 1987 to protect estuaries of national significance that are threatened by degradation caused by human activity. More locally, the Partnership also serves as a Regional Recovery Organization to coordinate Puget Sound partners around salmon recovery efforts and convenes a number of other state priority workgroups that impact Puget Sound recovery.
Re Sources For Sustainable Communities
Re Sources is an environmental non-profit with over 20,000 supporters in Northwest Washington. We operate primarily in Whatcom and Skagit Counties. Our mission is to promote sustainable communities and protect the health of Northwest Washington's people through application of science, education, advocacy and action.
RiverSong Farm
RiverSong Farm is a diversified, organic family farming operation serving customers through a CSA program, direct sales, and custom growing agreements since 1994. Ours was the second Community Supported Agriculture program established in Skagit in 1998. We produce mixed vegetables, tree fruit, berries, specialty seed crops, and cut flowers for local customers. Educating our customers about seasonal eating, locally based foods, food preparation, and food growing has been part of our mission since the beginning. Our long history of mentoring young farmers and incubating new businesses continues as we share part of our land with emerging organic farmers. We continue to collaborate with other established family farmers in the Skagit community.
Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe

Proactively implementing structural and non-structural projects that reduce flood damages and maintain our current environment for the citizens of Skagit County.
Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group
Building partnerships that educate and engage the community in habitat restoration and watershed stewardship to enhance salmonid populations.
Skagit Land Trust
Conserving fish and wildlife habitat, wetlands, agricultural and forest lands, scenic natural areas and shorelines throughout the mainland and islands of the Skagit watershed for the benefit of our community and as a legacy for future generations.
Skagit River Bald Eagle Awareness Team (SRBEAT)
The Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center (SRBEIC), open since 1997, is operated by the non-profit Skagit River Bald Eagle Awareness Team and educates people about, generates appreciation for, and encourages restoration of the Skagit River ecosystem, with an emphasis on the winter migration of bald eagles and spawning salmon.
Skagit River System Cooperative
Providing natural resource management services for the Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe and the Swinomish Indian Tribal community.
Tetra Tech
Tetra Tech is a global environmental consulting firm with a local office in Mt Vernon specializing in aquatic habitat projects aimed at improving anadromous fish production and survival through watershed planning, habitat restoration, and monitoring strategies in the Pacific Northwest.
The Nature Conservancy
Preserving the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.
The Whale Museum
The Whale Museum's mission is to promote stewardship of whales and the Salish Sea ecosystem through education and research. The Whale Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was originally founded in 1976.
Town of Hamilton
Hamilton strives to protect and maintain our rural community while adapting to an ever-changing world.
Town of La Conner
The Town of La Conner is a waterfront village that seeks to preserve its rural flavor, small town livability and historic authenticity. Keeping a balance between preservation and economic promotion is the key to maintaining a satisfactory quality of life in La Conner and Skagit County.
Trout Unlimited – Wild Steelheaders United
The Initiative and associated group, Wild Steelheaders United, is an organized way for anglers (regardless of whether a person fishes gear or fly, bait or lure) to become more informed about wild steelhead biology and ecology, keep abreast of the latest management and policy issues, to learn about wild steelhead fishing opportunities, and to become educated about Trout Unlimited’s conservation work. Above all, it is a home to anyone who believes in the quest to protect these fish.
Upper Skagit Indian Tribe
The Upper Skagit Tribe’s mission is to manage, protect and enhance the Tribe’s reserved Treaty Fish and Shellfish Rights, within the Tribe’s adjudicated usual and accustomed fishing areas: By developing and implementing adaptive Fish and Shellfish Management Plans and strategies that provide harvest opportunities for the Tribe and its members while maintaining resource sustainability.
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is dedicated to preserving, protecting and perpetuating the state’s fish and wildlife resources.
Washington State Department of Ecology
Washington's Department of Ecology works with local government and citizen to conserve and restore our land, air and water. Our mission is to protect, preserve and enhance Washington's environment for current and future generations.
Washington State University Skagit County Extension
The WSU Skagit County Shore Steward program is a WSU Extension program that helps shoreline community residents and businesses protect the Skagit watershed through property decisions. Each Shore Steward adopts up to 10 Guidelines for Shoreline living and receives free information from WSU Skagit County Extension to make those decisions. Shore Stewards protect the waters and wildlife of Puget Sound, one property at a time.
Washington Water Trust
Since 1998, the Washington Water Trust have been working to return balance to our state's rivers and streams from eastern Washington to western Washington, to the Olympic Peninsula, San Juan Islands and beyond. We work collaboratively to help develop balanced water management strategies which mean at the right time, in the right place, even small amounts of water left instream can have an immensely positive impact--fish can spawn, wildlife can thrive, recreation can abound, and domestic and agricultural needs can be met.
Western WA Agricultural Association
Representing agriculture by providing services for the entire agricultural community.
Wildcat Steelhead Club
The purpose of the Wildcat Steelhead Club is to unite fraternally and socially, all persons interested in the sports of fishing and hunting. This includes working with the Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Forest Service, and environmental organizations to improve the environmental quality of the Skagit River system. In the spring we sponsor the Kids Fishing Derby at Northern State Pond. Fish are provided by WDFW. Club members also volunteer for community activities promoting fishing.
