The Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center (SRBEIC), open since 1997, is operated by the non-profit Skagit River Bald Eagle Awareness Team and educates people about, generates appreciation for, and encourages restoration of the Skagit River ecosystem, with an emphasis on the winter migration of bald eagles and spawning salmon.
SRBEIC provides a platform for the public to explore environmental conservation by providing a variety of educational programming and special events including interpretive nature walks, a speaker series, and K-12 school program, in addition to providing visitor information and eagle watching safety precautions.
